This update/post should have been done a lot sooner, but Marijuana Mama has been a busy lady this week, but let me just tell you that I met some of the coolest people, from customers to vendors, at Empyreal Grow’s customer appreciation day on March 4th. Marijuana Mama and her crew were there in full force!!

Let’s start first with the guys of Empyreal Grow, Reggie, Malik, Dave, Jarod and all the guys are some of the coolest cats you could ever meet and super tall too!! They have built a beautiful grow shop at 415 N. Military Hwy., Suite 25 in Norfolk, VA 23502 and have everything you could need for growing anything, not just marijuana, from tents and lights to soil and nutrients. Now let’s talk vendors…. Besides yours truly who was there with her little baby plants and seeds, there were some other really amazing vendors there. First, Chef Red of Crop Circle Grourmet was throwing down the delicious treats and Mac bowls. The smells flowing through that grow shop and into the parking lot were insane!! Hempossible Industries, http://www.hempossibleindustries.com, and Proh Wellness Center, http://www.prohwellnesscenter.com, were both out there with all kinds of happy feel goods that will do the body good from head to toe.

Someone I want to give a huge shout out to that popped in is Archie Boone with Norfolk Community Services Board. He is a part of NCSB prevention services and stopped in and gave us a short message about something that is super close to my heart, the power that medical marijuana can have in stopping the opioid epidemic. Homies… I don’t smoke marijuana to get high. I did plenty of that when I was younger. I smoke weed to help with my anxiety, insomnia, and pain. I am in my 40s and I do not take prescription medication. I do not get vaccines. I do not believe in any of it!! My son’s father developed an opioid addiction and passed away at the young age of 50. I know what opioids, prescribed and not, do to a person, their family and friends, and their entire life. Homies, I am here to tell you it is not pretty and it is not fun for anyone involved. I fully intend to reach out to Archie and see where I can help!!
